1. In windows, we just enter \\nas.xxx.com , then we will enter the share directory
2. In Ubuntu, we can create a network:
Places - Connect to server... -Select Windows Share -Enter Server (nas.xxx.com)-Click Connect
Then a network will be created.
In Side Pane, we will see the share directory: smb://nas.xxx.com/sharedirectory
